GASTRONOMIC TOUR OF HUELVA

Of the marsh
A very seafaring activity to enjoy all the flavor and visit the marshes by boat.

Gastronomic tour through the city of Huelva

All the flavor of the marsh concentrated in one tour

This experience combines the seafood gastronomy of Huelva with a boat ride through the marshes. You will walk, sail and get in touch with the most authentic flavors of Huelva. All accompanied by a local expert guide.

To know well what you eat you have to know the environment in which the food is produced. So the first thing to do is to get to know the marshes of Huelva. We will start with a boat trip on the Odiel River. You can choose between 1 or 2 hours. The climate, the geography and the abundance of fresh and salt water characterize this land.

The flavor of the wines with protected designation of origin of Condado de Huelva is a consequence of the type of grape, the Zalema, but also of the ageing caused by the climate of the Huelva marshes. During your boat trip you will be able to taste them together with the famous Huelva prawns. If you are allergic to seafood or do not drink alcohol, you can indicate it in the contact form and we will make you another culinary proposal to modify your gastronomic route through Huelva.

Andalusia has many provinces facing the sea, but if there is one that is famous for its mollusks and crustaceans, it is Huelva (with apologies to the people of Cadiz). The estuaries of many rivers on the coast of Huelva result in an abundance of clams and razor clams, not to mention the white shrimp of Huelva. You will see all these products on a visit to the Central Market.

In this same market we will taste something that does not come from the marsh, but that is also very characteristic of Huelva, the Iberian pork sausages from the Sierra de Aracena.

All without overdoing it, since at noon you will have a reservation in a very authentic restaurant of the city where you will finish tasting the gastronomy of Huelva.

Get to know the product first, then taste it!
